UI Theme Switching

For the Tata Avinya programme, I adapted the next-generation instrument cluster design system I had developed for JLR vehicles so it could be reuse within Tata Motors' brand ecosystem. Both vehicles were planned to be built on the shared EMA architecture, the cluster software is developed through a single pipeline, with UI themes functioning as brand-specific reskins on top of the same core system.

As part of this collaboration, I was tasked with extending the existing atomic component library to cover three new Avinya specific UI themes. Each theme required its own visual identity

while still adhering to the underlying system structure used across both brands.

The themes were created using the same token-driven foundations, component logic, and interaction patterns, ensuring full compatibility with the engineering pipeline while enabling Tata to deliver a distinct design direction. This approach allowed both

organisations to produce consistent, high-quality software efficiently across shared platforms.
